Refund Policy

1. Overview: free trial before purchase

Because you have already evaluated the product during the free trial, your purchase is an informed decision. All payments are processed by Creem.com Market Limited as the Merchant of Record.

2. All sales are final

All purchases are final and non-refundable. Once you complete a purchase, no refund is available — whether in full or in part. This applies to:

• First-time purchases of annual licenses
• Renewal fees for subsequent annual periods
• Partial periods — if you cancel mid-cycle, you retain access until the end of the paid period, but no prorated refund is issued

Your license remains active for the full annual term (365 days) from the purchase date, regardless of when you stop using the Service.

3. Why we don't offer refunds

Our pricing model is designed to be fair and transparent:

• You try before you buy. The 14-day free trial gives you full access to evaluate every feature — including PDF export, compliance checks, and document generation — before any payment is required.
• Your data stays with you. All product data is stored locally in your browser. Even if you stop using the Service or your license expires, your data remains accessible for you to export at any time.
• Recording is always free. Basic data entry and recording features remain free forever, even after a trial expires or a license lapses. Only premium features (PDF export, compliance reports) require a paid license.
• Low annual cost. Our licenses are priced affordably ($29–$79/year) to be accessible to fiduciaries acting in personal capacities.

By completing a purchase, you acknowledge that you have evaluated the Service during the free trial period and are voluntarily choosing to pay for an annual license.

4. Service outages

If we have a Service outage exceeding 24 consecutive hours that prevents core functionality, we will issue a prorated service credit for the affected period, regardless of when in the billing cycle it occurred. This is the only exception to the no-refund policy.

Note: Because your product data is stored locally in your browser, a server outage does not affect your ability to access or record data — it may only affect PDF export and license validation (which degrades gracefully with cached validation).

5. Chargebacks

If you dispute a charge with your card issuer or PayPal instead of contacting us first, we may suspend your license pending resolution, provide evidence of your usage to your card issuer (we can see how many documents you generated, but not the document contents — those stay in your browser), and decline future purchases from the same payment method. Chargeback disputes are handled by Creem as Merchant of Record.
